Simply Serve

Our annual event "SIMPLY SERVE" will take place August 23rd. This is a great event to showcase most of the ministries of Dallas First. Please mark you calendars, you don't want to miss what is in store for this year! Simply Serve is open to everyone in the community, members and visitors alike. Our hope is that you learn about all of the opportunity's offered at Dallas First United Methodist. We welcome you to get involved in a ministry that interests you. It is a great opportunity to make new friends and to serve others, even if it is just an hour or two!

Rafting the Ocoee River will take place in August this year. We are still in the planning stage. Please keep your eyes out for more information as it becomes available.

Summer Activities

The Nurture Team will be hosting or annual Family Picnic and Pool party at Sara Babb Park. The date for this year is Saturday July 18th! The picnic will start at 4:00 P.M. with games and fellowship in the pavilion. The Pool is reserved for DFUMC at 7:00 P.M. We are asking for ministries to sign up to organize a game for our picnic such as Tennis, Horse Shoes, Balloon Toss, what ever you like.
